Do you care about ANY of those things?
I thought so!
Then click the pic below or Click Here to see what opportunities to HELP exist in YOUR area!

volunteer match opportunities find work placements help animals people charity events local

I bet you didn’t even know there were THAT many different ways a person could help out in their community and their world!
I know I didn’t, before I found that website!

Of course, if you DID check it out, you’d see that you can not only search by your selected area of interest, but also by location. If you notice, the pic shows my area, and asks ME, “What do you care about in Roanoke, Texas?” and of course the little down-arrow next to that lets me CHANGE my location. And just below that, there is a pair of arrows, left and right, that allow me to scroll sideways through the 29 different areas of interest listed above. Of course, if you’re reading this post long after December 2016 when I’m writing it, you may find there are even MORE categories to choose from! 😀

I also encourage you to check out the calendar of upcoming events for your area, and to click the tab labeled “virtual” to see a list of volunteer opportunities for those who would rather help from home, doing online or telephone activities such as data entry, website maintenance, and editing.

At the time I am writing this, a section under the pic above and under the heading “WHO” says there are:

— 111,326 participating organizations
— 11,765,998 volunteers matched, and
— 82,017 volunteer opportunities

I wonder what those numbers will look like when YOU visit VolunteerMatch.org! :O>
